Diablo 3 Blue Posts » D3 remains choppy.
| Im sad to report the FPS stuttering is still in the game, and seems even worse then before. I don't understand why this isnt getting fixed or some information about it from Blizzard. When i use the ticket system all i get is replies telling me to defrag and dont run applications in the background. All my other (new) games run silky smooth, just not D3. I'm having this problem since launch. It distracts so much from getting inmersed into the game, and at this point i can't play for more then 15mins as its so horrible to watch. If D3 would run smooth, it would be one hell of a game.. |
| Hey there Tanami. The reason we haven't talked about this is because, in all honesty, we don't really have that much to say that hasn't already been said on the matter. It's not something that we've managed to replicate (although I personally did experience it briefly in beta, so I realise how off-putting it can be), and our previous suggestions have worked for the majority of the users experiencing the issue. However, I can assure you that it's not been forgotten and our developers will continue to investigate and work on client optimisation. | ||||
| Sorry, I have edited my post with the correct link now. And I never said that we didn't know what you mean Dhumra, in fact my last sentence implied the complete opposite. I also have a friend that experiences it from time to time, so please do not twist my words. What I mean is that on a clean system, we have not been able to replicate these performance issues internally to any great extent. How can we fix that which we cannot see is broken? Our developers cannot work from Google testimonies or YouTube videos, this should be obvious. It goes without saying that general optimisation is always a high priority for our development teams but until we can find an underlying cause, we cannot create, or communicate on, possible solutions, other than the ones we have already offered. | ||||
