It's great idea for me. In D2 u can use crossbows too but are slow and have a little damage.

Dont forget the quivers you can use with your 2h ranged weapons.They are a great add to theyr statistic and on end game lvl there are quite few nice quivers wich will improve your 2h xbow / bow performamce.At the end all come to a personal choise 1 hand ranged weapons or 2 hand ones.

But we don't know items, i mean their dmg/attack speed etc. So its difficult to say now which kind o weapons i will use in game. I guess it will depend only on the taste.That's all.
