I've only played the demo a couple weeks ago but from what I got from it it looks visually and dynamically amazing! You can't compare it to any other game.
Has anyone either played the demo or bought the game?
I also would really like to know feedback from someone who bought and played the actual game.

Really?! Why is that? The demo seemed to be pretty good. Were you disappointed with something in paticular that wasn't in the demo?

That really surprises me just because I've been checking IGN and they game it a 9.0. I like your honesty though about it game. Thank you. Too bad we can't get more people to talk about this game as well.

I tried it and I hated it. The game is just not polished at all.. But after all, it's published by EA so you can't expect that much.
Just pirate it...

i got the game and i liked it a lot i mean its really a great game its up to you if you want to be evil and kill ppl and steal from them or you want to be a elver king, i mean its so much fun but the main quest, with some side quests take about 24 hours to complete kinda wanted the game took a bit longer, also dont buy games, just get a crack from the internet ^-^

I think overall is a good game. A combination of different styles, RPG, Fighting, etc
I like the combat and the art style the most, i 've played until level 10 r 15 an stopped...because of the D3 beta, maybe i will get around sometime and play it again.

I'm kind of surprised to have so many negatives. I'll at least try the game out but I'll wait till the price goes down a bit and buy a used copy so that I'm not spending full price and end up not liking it.

I have the game..
Tried it, played it once, never touched it again.
The game's terrible, there's nothing innovative about it. It's just WoW all over again with some God of War gimmicks and crappy interface.
It's just another try-hard clone :-/
I just couldn't enjoy this game at all.

What did all of you think of the demo? Or did you just go straight into buying the game without trying the demo first?

I really enjoyed what I've played of it so far. I'm about 13 hours in. That being said, with school I've barely had the time to sit down and properly enjoy it. It's rough around the edges, but it has a good story and really fun combat. It feels massive, which is awesome. I don't really have anything bad to say about it to you. I played the demo first and when I transitioned into the retail copy everything felt the same only I had access to everything. I like the designs and a'lot of the things you can do but I'm only limited to commenting on the first 13 hours. I've played a Rogue so far and she kicks ridiculous ass. I would recommend renting it if you can to get the feel for it, but you might enjoy it.

I think that's a great idea. I'll rent it first then I'll go from there. Hopefully Redbox will have it because Blockbuster is going out of business in our area.

Fixed, lol. Yeah I know what you mean. The game really does have merit, I do love it and promote it to my friends and anyone I can but it doesn't appeal to everyone the same way. I hope you like it, it has a'lot going for it. There are a few glaring bugs that will annoy you but they're easily overlooked if you're willing. The inventory is the major one that got me for a while.
Potions stack. You can have 10 in a stack. You have 6 potions in a stack and 70/70 items in your inventory. You cannot pick up the potion without having 69/70 inventory and even then, the potion goes onto your stack and you're down a piece of inventory that you destroyed to make room to pick it up. I wrote them a piece of code of their forums that literally took me 30 seconds to write to fix the problem. It's an easy fix, just needs to be implemented.

Thank you TinkerTailor. That's really something you see from buying the actual game since what you can do in the demo is limited inventory wise. I hope they create an update that will fix that.

No worries man. I hope so too. Like I say it's not a game breaker but it can bug the hell out of you sometimes enough that you just laugh and shake your head...and then go kill a dozen big monsters and feel better lol.

I'm sure killing a dozen big monsters would make anyone feel better.
