I would take the retailers' release dates with a grain of salt and wait for an official announcement from Blizzard. I suggest everyone do the same.

I have seen thousands of different release date but none are real onto we confirm it from Jay wilson himself. All stores or company just estimate a release date.

Just like Best Buy "leaked" the release date as February 1st, which  of course ended up being false.



Trust me, the retailers are just as clueless about the release dates as we are. The fact that 600 employees were fired from Blizzard and we still don't know when the release date is could only mean that they are keeping it a secret even from the Blizzard employees themselves.

The game won't come out in April, you can forget about that. Late May and early June are far mroe likely.

i guess we will just have to wait and see

Yes, they got contacts with Blizzard and quite possibly the worst thing they can do is give away the release date before Blizzard does or allows them to.

I worked at Best Buy years ago during my summer job and if we learned any sort of information on a release date before it was publically announced, if we leaked it by putting it on facebook or twitter or something of that sort and the store found out, we would get fire immiediately. Retailers have ethical rules and contracts to abide with the developers of games. They cannot just release any information they want.

This is why I am stating that Amazon is completely and utterly clueless on the release date. Blizzard hasn't told them and they are only trying to start a hype to get early preorders and steal the sales from other retailers. Like I mentioned before, if the release date is still a secret AFTER 600 of Blizzard's OWN employees were fired, what makes you think Amazon will know it?

Amen.  That date is 6 days after my birthday, so I want them to be right as well.  I can't completely get my hopes up, because, most likely, this is a company assuming a date.  They are unlikely to have insider information from Blizzard.  It's so close that I also want to believe it.

LOL well I remember when I was ordering something just this last October the release date was pushed back and pushed back every time the date got close. The store is just trying to get more pre-orders

A lot of scavenging and stalking of Blizz reps is starting to make this look very real...
