Hey all, long time Diablo 2 player looking for a healthy and happy D3 community!

To be frank I did end up here while looking for beta key giveaways but at the same time I am also looking for a smaller and more "happy" community.

It seems that a lot old timers and nostalgia players seem to really bring down quite a few of the bigger and older communities (im looking at you incgamers.com!) and just spurr unhealthy flame threads in order to call out changes from the two games.

Frankly I am one of those old timers (playing since the initial release of the battlechest) and yet I find myself embracing some of the new ideas that Blizz is bringing to the table and am looking forward to the game a great deal.

If Blizzard has done one thing right in the last decade is take a great idea and stream line it. Now sometimes it does not work and I can attest to that being a long time WoW player but coming from Everquest, WoW was a breath of fresh air.

They cut out a lot of the archaic crap and the result was a smooth and addicting experience! Hopefully some of my old gripes of d2 have been resolved and I can play this as much if not more then the original!

My hope for this community is we can maintain a healthy debate now and again but try to avoid getting stuck in the past and take this as a stand alone game and not pine for what used to be!

Cheers!
