I think it's unfair that Europeans have to pay +30% ( $78.23 ) for the same digital version of Diablo III.

Besides Europeans had less time in beta and less beta keys... and now we pay "extra"...

What's your comment about this ?

you could always try something creative, like changing your address to a US, or UK address, and see if the price/currency changes.

just don't tell blizzard you did it, they don't really care about stuff like that unless you fuck them or other players over.

Because we're rich i guess, most games are more expensive here, steam digital downloads as well.

change your address to one in UK and it'll cost 45 British pounds = 401.804018 Danish kroner

i'm going to see if i can buy it even cheaper with an american address...

held og lykke med prisjagten, ellers er der altid coolshop.dk til 350

Was just about to make this point. Taxes and import etc may be higher for the EU. Seeing as Blizzard won't take the hit in their margins (at the end of the day, fair enough, they are a company trying to make money), it gets passed on to us.

You could almost take the quote about game-client not being affected by region as Blizzards way of helping you get around the tax laws :)

EDIT - Spelling

i've looked into changing your details to be able to buy it for american prices, you'll have to do one of the following things:

method 1: add a new shipping address in the US, and contact customer service to change this to be you primary contact information after you've done this, you should be able to purchase it for the $ usd price.

method 2: create a new account, an american proxy may be needed for this, and add your information like before, this might be easier because customer service wont be checking if you're trying to scam them out of a few dollars :P

method 3: just pay and get it over with, it's not a big difference unless you're on an allowance :P

if anyone has something to add, or can use this, i'd be happy to hear if it worked for you.

I guess it is for compensation of taxes . Tho they could have not take  compensation for that ,from us ,  and keep same prices , which is not so uncommon business model ! i know,i know i'm pushing it a bit now  xD

And i am on allowance :((( Sad story . I guess i'm just lucky you dont see how old i am xDD

'Greedy Blizz' doesnt have anything to do with the laws and taxes of YOUR country.

HONESTLY, do you think that Blizzard is going around saying: (These are just examples)  'Hey, lets charge France $30 more for the game' and 'The main dev. over in animation doesnt like Italy, lets charge them $40 more than the U.S. copy'.

Get real dude.

If you have a problem with prices being higher you should blame your 'greedy country'.
