Hey all - -

First off, thanks for taking the time to read this. I participated in the open beta this weekend and had some mixed results. I ran the beta on an older laptop, but it is up to date with software and I have a proper video card for low settings.

At times, it ran completely smooth both playing alone, and in a group of four; even in large areas such as the final stages of the beta. While other times it seemed as if everything was in slow motion, not lag so much, but everything moved extremely slow. I've read around on this and a lot of other mac users have had this issues even on higher model computers than mine.

Specs:
card: 9400m 256mb
OSX 10.6.8
2.4 ghz
2GB RAM
Aluminum Macbook 2009

One other note - - I am at college and using a designated router, I know it is not the best and was curious if that could be a deciding factor in the varied results. I appreciate any responses, and apologize for the lengthy post.

Hmmm. It shouldn't be drivers issues because Apple has those things set up automatically every time you do an update I believe.

Maybe someone can help you here but my best tip for you is to go the main Diablo 3 Tech Suppor forums. Use the search option first and maybe you might find some help there.
