Hello as the topic says i've been messing around this patch and have been enjoying it alot especially with the monster level changes. First of all i'd like to say that i'm not trying to prove anything or trying to do something impressive but provide a build that might be useful to the people of the community.

http://us.battle.net......

Currently as my build stands I need to improve my gear but it's what i've been able to get my hands on over time to make this build work. I've been able to farm lower monster levels faster thanks to the speed from temepest rush and the high dps i gain from having a skorn with decent stats . I will post a link to the build now

http://us.battle.net...XSig!cXU!ZZbYZY

Okay well as you can see i use the following skills:

Way of the hundred fist - Blazing Fist : The reason for using this is not only to increase my attack speed with the 2 handed weapon but to also improve my movement speed after i clear the group of mobs or to generate spirit faster seeing as i wouldn't have the fastest attack speed if it weren't for my 50% improved attack speed on my equipment also.

Tempest Rush - Tailwind : The reason i use the 25% movement speed rune on Tempest Rush is obviously because it makes farming way faster as you can speed through big maps moving from mob to mob just by rushing there. Like i mentioned before you gain movement speed from Blazing Fist. This comes in handy when trying to either deal damage with tempest rush to clear weaker trash mobs and or trying to move between spots and out of danger seeing as you get 15% from the 3 stacks on Way of the hundred fist and the 25 from this Come to a whopping total of 40%. This of course can increase with your passive movement speed bonus from lacunis and boots, since you can only have 25% but as much active afterwards. You can also use this skills to clear trash mobs at an impressive rate by running around in circles (Yes Like Whirlwind haha)

Breath of Heaven - Blazing Wrath : Using the blazing wrath rune would of course be for the same reason you'd use it in other builds to increase your DPS and also have an extra heal on top of your potions. Though the DPS boost you can get from this is good to have don't let it cloud your judgement as leaving it as your sole reason for having it you never know when you might need that heal to keep you up in the middle of a tough Champion or elite group.

Sweeping Wind - Inner Storm : Inner storm provides with an extra functionality apart from the damage that sweeping wind does on its own. The Regen you get from having the 3 stacks can be used to mitigate the spirit consumed by tempest rush so you can use it for longer periods not infinitely of course but just for what you will need it. In addition Sweeping wind can function as an additional dps source if you decide to use your Tempest rush to clear or clean up trash mobs in an area.

Mantras:

First off even though my mantra of choice for this is Mantra of Retribution - Transgression it's not the only option for the choice seeing as you can get more speed from an amulet and i currently use it because i farm low monster level inferno for the purposes of paragon level farming. Transgression gives you the additional attack speed to clear mobs faster with your high dps skorn or what ever 2 handed weapon you decided to take along for the build. when maxed out with all attack speed on rings , neck , armor and helm and not to mentioned with your Blazing fist you should be able to reach 2.00 attack speed with any 2h weapon of your choice , I use a skorn so im sure a daibo or any weapon with more than a 1.00 will pass 2.00 with no problem with the appropriate gear.

A second choice for the mantra can be the Mantra of Healing - Time of need as the additional resistances you get can assist you in higher monster levels for survival and or helping out your party as well. This being for more defensive purposes is pretty self explanatory. You are also free to experiment with whatever Mantra you feel would suit your play style better. This is not a static skill to the build so feel free to play around with the different mantras.

Serenity - Ascension : I personally use ascension as i feel like the extra second that you get from using the skill makes a huge difference when it comes to timing. You will usually save this skill to prevent yourself from Freezing , Burning , and or taking huge bursts of damage. You can also use Peaceful Repose if you feel that you are okay with 3 seconds and would rather take an extra heal with you incase you get into a tight spot.

Passive Skills:

Chant of Resonance : This skill will make it so you don't have to be refreshing your mantra often so you can always have a bit more spirit for your tempest rush or your other skills and also so you can get a bit more spirit regeneration to mitigate the spirit consumption of Tempest Rush.

Seize The Initiative : This as you all know though not as good as it used to be is still a very useful skill especially with really high dex and the extra armor never hurts to improve your survivability in higher monster power levels.

One With Everything : Most monks use this skill for the sole purpose of Resistance stacking to get them incredibly high. As i'm sure someday blizzard will nerf it i suggest you use it to make up resistances in other spots where you might think getting AR would be too expensive. But also remember that when you do stack you will benefit from it and it will be a huge help when it comes to surviving higher monster levels. If you resistance stack equipment it makes it easier to get 100+ AR on just once piece of gear seeings as you will add your AR and your Resistance of choice together.

I know reading this guide was probably not the most fun any of you have had and i know i could be clearer but i will continue to work on this and update this post as i find things that work better and would appreciate it if you guys provided your input.

I currently stream using this build for Paragon Farming but will improve it to use it to farm higher monster levels with Greater DPS and Survivability.

This is a link to my stream and hope you guys are interested in this build.

I hope to have your support in making this build more functional and putting it out there so we can farm as fast as any other class or even faster. but like i said as i'm sure alot of people will probably not like it and try to put it down it's something i will put all my effort into making this a great build for all monks to use :D.
