ill probably choose the templar at first.  mainly because he heals quite a bit

It'll always depends on the character you play. I preffer to use contrast. Let's say I use DH, I'll eventually choose Templar. Then again, experimenting with other ones will be good.

For my main char (DH) probably a Templar. But I can say only for sure when they game is out ofc. Maybe I won't use any Followers. But I guess I'll just take the one that supplements my char best.

Im not really into followers to be frank, but since it is kind of a must in solo play I'd probably go with Templar for tankyness.

Everyones gonna say Templar because.. Do we even know what other followers there are?

I'll say "Templar until I find the guy that's bound to be cooler"

Perhaps my choice is not the best, but I want to try out how it works together, these two classes:
Enchantress with Demon Hunter  and Templar with Barb

WD - Templar
Barbarian - Templar or echantress
Monk - scoundrel or enchantress
Wizard - Templar
DH - Templar or encantress

As many above me said it all depends on the class your playing, it's best to choose a polar opposite of your character. So Wiz (keeping distance) - templar, Barb (meele range) - enchantres etc.

Definitely Templar, seems like a better fit for my Barb.
