Yes im actually interested in making one, but depending on the items that are available in the game I will decide to see if its great to have a passive Lifesteal. Preferably if i obtain lifesteal through other means like equipment...

i prefer the PvM build in my sig, it's going to leech a lot, but it still has a lot of AOE killing power

I've just recently gotten interested in the Barbarian and I've always liked the ability to steal health.  Now I know to use Revenge and the Bloodthirst Passive. Beyond that, I know some weapons will have it as an additional stat.

i really don't think bloodthirst will  be much of a help, i'm counting on my build to use that extra damage and reduction to keep me from having to regen in the first place, besides i'll be regenning %of maxlife, while you will be regenning %of damage done(which can be very low against some enemies).

Beyond that, the Barbarian will be quick to kill and smash through skeletons.  With his defense, little damage will get through, at least in normal difficulty.

no one cares about normal difficulty though, it's all about hell farming so you can clear inferno

I think lifesteal is going to be pretty important for the endgame as a Barb. Definitely going to be playing with some min/maxing to find that balance. Always go for +life per hit than kill though, bosses don't die every few seconds =)

A barbarians armor should keep him from being one-shotted in inferno. You have to think, the damage they do to you is minimized by the 70%+ damage reduction that your armor affords you, which is one of the reasons strength is so important to a barb besides damage. He will be in the front of the battle taking 90% of the hits if he does his job right and he is going to want some type of self-heals. Life leech in combination with life gained per hit/kill and life regen items will keep a barbarian at the peak of his health. I believe also that armor reduces every possible type of damage. Then the amount of damage is again reduced by the amount of arcane, fire, lighting, physical, cold, poison resistance you have. This will obviously come in handy when the Inferno champions are busy dealing 100k damage to you when you only have 10k health lol.
