What are your most memorable moments from D2?

I have a few that stick out for me:

-The first time I beat Diablo with my Barbarian, died alot, I was a noob at the time.
-The first time I found a Windforce and a Griffons helm.
-The first time I finally became better than my friend at PvP and I started whooping him from then on.
-Having 8 highschool friends all in the same game magic finding and hangin out.
-The first time Uber Diablo spawned in my random game. I freaked out, didn't know what was going on and I couldn't kill him and never got the anni.
-Became a successful Diablo Clone Hunter after ^that^, obtained many anni's from then on.
-First time I solo'd Uber Tristram.

What are your most memorable moments from D2?

My friend and I running back in forth through the catacombs for the first time... it seemed a lot bigger back then.

The cinematics were it for me. Oh and chasing the dark wander at the start of act three. So cool seeing him... Almost had him... Once he got stuck and just kept on walking in the same spot.

My most memorable d2 moments in no particular order are:

- Killing Diablo for the first time
- Killing Baal for the first time
- Finding an unid Doombringer in hell cows after the game was finished
- Killing the Dclone while my friend killed everyone in the server
- Dying for the first time in hardcore because it still pisses me off (goddamn summoner)

Alkor's dialogue.

Seriously gets me every time:

1. Damn it, I wish you people would just leave me alone! I... Oh, you're new here, aren't you? I am Alkor, the Alchemist.

2. From the ashes of Ku Y'leh I have mixed for you a potion. *potion drop sound*;

3. I hope you don't object to my badgering the witless.

4. Yes, Natalya is a cute girl. However, I think she could use a special potion. Let me see here, 'Radiant Beauty'... No. 'Ray of Sunshine'... No, that's not it. Ah, here it is: 'Relax Frosty Bitch'. This should help her out.


Aahhhhh, ridiculously good times.

Hearing about the cow level, and trying it once before I went to school at 5 a.m. the whole day I ran around saying "Moo, MOO, MOOOOOOO"

When i ... ok, ok i can say from the first moment i open my pc and i install this amazing game..

- the first time I encountered Duriel - and died soo many times on him

- playing for days in LAN with a buddy, grinding for an Io rune for "White" with my boner necro in Act 1 Hell (drop rate of Io was horrible back then, especially when playing normal multiplayer and not closed bnet ladder) --- then finally got the drop from the countess AND THEN THE OS OF THE LAPTOP OF MY BUDDY CRASHED (he was the host) .... of course before anyone could get the Io rune.... I almost cried. Never saw an Io rune again with that necro ... nowadays it's kinda ridiculously easy to find an Io in bnet closed ladder, but back then ... haa, good times....

Pretty much those for me as well. However I managed to kill Uber diablo because I was a dirty dirty hammerdin and with the help of my friend on his blizzard sorc.

I have a lots , but one is specific...

When i reached for the first time on Diablo ( D2)  with my paladin , I was so excited and ofc i died so many times , and if i remember corectly i stood like 40 mins to beat him...

Lol, yea some of the dialogue was great in D2.

Sounds similar to my experience w/ my Barb, it took me forever! I didn't know what I was doing, I was so freaked out, spamming pots.. I had such a bad weapon.. ah, it just took me forever.

Ahh the days of LAN, Ill miss them!

That's too bad about that Io rune, I had similar experiences too.
