Will you use a Demon Hunter companion?

Standard = dps crows
Alabaster = gold find ferrets
Crimson = slow spiders
Golden = plus hatred regen bat
Indigo = cleave boars
Obsidian = temporary power wolf

I think I'll really like the boars or the spiders.  But I just don't know.  What do you all think?
And do you have a favourite Demon Hunter companion?

The ferrets pick up gold..probably going to use them most of the time since they took out companion scrolls.

I don't think I am going to waste a skill slot on this. Maybe I'm under appreciating the 2.5 hatred per sec. Do you think its worth the skill slot?

ill probably use slow spiders because of the cc so i can shoot arrows on the enemies face before they have got to me

If I find gold is hard to come by ferrets all the way, but on the whole I think that I will probably go with bats. However, I know I will defiantly have a companion ASAP.

I'll use bats for leveling, assuming hatred runs out quickly.  Endgame I'll use bats for farming gold, and probably spiders for anything difficult.

If the Discipline regen is enough so you can resummon the wolf when the time for it is up without having to wait I'll be using that.  A tanking pet should be cool.

I ll use a ferret and a paladin, that is for sure. What is better than having his own personal tank pet with taunt and stun and extra gold.

Probably the bats, crows, and spiders for me.

I think the only time I'm going to use it is when I have a left over skill slot, just to fill it up with a bonus.
I'm not really a fan of pets..
